What is email verification tool?

An email verification tool is used to check that an email address in your contact database is still correct. But it mostly allows you to clean up your list automatically or manually. These tools allow you to delete expired addresses and fake emails. And it is even automatically correct syntax errors and more.

To do this, simply connect your email database through an API or a CSV file. Then the system will take care of the various verification checks of the email with https://emailverify.co/

These tools allow you a great flexibility to keep your database up to date. It is necessary to clean your database 2 to 3 times a year for the following reasons:

There are several statuses of different emails: delivered, opened, clicked, unsubscribed, blocked, put in spam, and rebounds also called bounces or errors. The bounce rate  is the amount of email that has not been sent or has not been accepted by the recipient's.

The rate of bounces therefore affects your deliverability, which will then trigger different alarms from ISPs (Internet Service Providers). In the long term it will taint your reputation.

Internet users often do not remember registering or taking the time to unsubscribe mailing lists and prefer to directly spam commercial mail. These complaints are subsequently recorded by email providers such as Google and Yahoo. If there are too many, they will automatically put your emails in the spam folder, damaging the reputation of your domain. And again, this significantly reduces the possibility of getting conversions.

If you use an automated email sending tool, you may be aware that the amount of your subscription is based on the number of emails you send or the number of subscribers you have, or both. By eliminating bounces from your contact database on a regular basis, spam and duplicates, your volume of emails to be sent will decrease consequently the cost of your campaigns as well.

It is also recommended to remove from your sending databases of those who never open your emails. They will distort your statistics. By having a smaller list of recipients who are interested in your messages and who are exploiting them, your numbers will be different. You will be better able to direct your future marketing efforts. Optimizing the deliverability rate will have an impact on the opening rate. It will have an impact on the click rate and ultimately your ROI will be boosted.
